Scotty has lived a remarkably unique life. During his youth, he was fortunate to travel extensively with parents from different hemispheres who founded an international textile company. Their family business Linen House has been at the core of his professional career.
Having grown up in a variety of socio-economic environments he developed compassion for humanity and street smarts at an early age. Upon graduating high school he travelled abroad alone and began an exploration of the world’s cultures that would see him visit 50 countries before the age of 35.
Throughout his 20’s and early 30’s Scotty explored a variety of vocations of which purpose and impact was the common thread. He is a Founding Member of ygap an international development not-for-profit with an innovative approach to poverty alleviation which has measurably improved the lives of over 1 million people. He is also a Founding Teacher of 1 Giant Mind a global meditation movement that has assisted over 250,000 people around the world in learning to meditate through free apps, events, workshops and teachers.
Scotty’s experience ranges from meditating with masters in Himalayan caves to working directly with some of the most impoverished communities in the world. Presenting to world leaders at the UN in NYC to living and working in some of the planets most beautiful national parks. He now teaches meditation, facilitates bespoke retreats and consults around the following areas of expertise:
