I have somehow acquired a few cheeky nicknames which include The Sustainability Ninja, Fuckgiver, and The Purpose Hacker.
I’m trained is both a Biomedical Scientist & Environmental Engineer – Although I don’t really feel like I’m either of those things. However, I use my science skills to observe and try to understand the world. Meanwhile my biomedical skills help me to understand processes and wellbeing, and my engineering skills help me to design solutions with a focus on the natural world.
It’s unlikely for you to you to find me in a lab or at a desk working on a spreadsheet – you will be more likely to find me out in the wild co-designing epic experiences and solutions to increase the wellbeing of people and the planet – infusing as much playfulness as I can get away with.
People describe me as a cheeky potty mouth, who likes to disrupt both mindsets and systems.
To date I have disrupted the higher education system, construction industry and now I have my eyes set on the economy and the future of work.
I’m a peer reviewed author in transformative education, sustainability, system change and eco-footprinting.
I love collaborating with legends.
I have worked with everyone from The Government to Google, to the purpose driven start-up that you haven’t heard of yet, but is probably about to disrupt the shit out of an entire industry.
In a previous life I was the Education For Sustainability Manager at Macquarie University, TEDx speaker, Co-host for the Un-School of Disruptive Design, Program Manager for The Centre of Sustainability Leadership and Associate Editor of the International Journal of Sustainability in Higher Education.
